All-Innovate is the University of Oxford's idea competition aiming to encourage students and staff at the University of Oxford to develop an entrepreneurial skill set and generate entrepreneurial ideas, regardless of discipline, level of study or entrepreneurial experience.

Submit any idea to gain the knowledge, support and skills needed to expand your entrepreneurial mindset and take the first steps into entrepreneurship. No idea? No problem! Sign up to find a list of ideas ready to choose from. The purpose of All-Innovate is to encourage anyone who wants to gain an insight into the world of entrepreneurship - your idea doesn't have to be perfect or fully formed.

Once you have signed up, you will be given access to Validate - a startup ideas platform that allows you to ideate, plan, test and share entrepreneurial and innovative ideas. As part of All-Innovate, we're running four optional training sessions during Hilary term 2024, through which you will gain the skills to create a Business Model Canvas (BMC) while building an entrepreneurial network.

For those who would like to explore their idea further, there is also the option to apply for £500 funding once your BMC has been created. Find all of the information on how to sign up, how to apply for funding and all of the key dates below.

Who Can Apply?

All undergraduates, postgraduates, DPhils and research staff from any department of the University of Oxford are invited to sign up to the competition with an entrepreneurial idea or choose one of ours to get you started.

Just start the application process and you'll find a list of ideas ready and waiting to be developed.

For those who decide to submit their final Business Model Canvas for a chance to win £500 funding, entrants will be judged on the idea itself as opposed to how developed the idea is.

All entrants will be invited to attend four specialist workshops designed to enhance and further your ideas.

Through interactive group sessions, working with peers from across the University, you will enhance your skills in creativity, complex problem solving and collaborating with others, all of which have been identified by The World Economic Forum as essential skills to thrive in the new world of work.

These workshops are open to all entrants and are a fantastic chance to build your CV, meet new people and learn from our leading experts and facilitators.
